1. General Terms By using this website, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to every offer from the entrepreneur and every distance contract concluded between Vita Schagen (Vita Schagen Art) and the consumer.

2. Ownership and Copyright All images, text, and other content on this website is the property of Vita Schagen or its licensors and is protected by Dutch and international copyright laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publicly display, create derivative works from, or sell any of the content on this website without the prior written permission of Vita Schagen.

3. Shipping and Returns a. Shipping We offer complimentary worldwide shipping. The price listed for the artwork includes professional packaging, insurance, and delivery costs. There are no additional shipping fees at checkout. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number.

b. Returns & Right of Withdrawal Vita Schagen offers a 14-day return policy on original oil paintings available in stock. To return a painting, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving it. The artwork must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

Refunds: Once we receive the returned painting and inspect its condition, we will refund the full purchase price.

Costs: The buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

c. Exception for Commissions The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made artworks (Commissions) created specifically for the client based on specific instructions. Sales of commissioned works are final and non-refundable.

4. Intellectual Property Vita Schagen owns all rights to the original oil paintings sold. Purchasing a painting transfers physical ownership but does not transfer the copyright. You agree not to reproduce or create prints from any of the paintings you purchase without prior written permission.

5. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.
